Important info for students and postdocs:This year, the Society for Developmental Biology will provide two travel awards to attend the 67th annual SDB meeting in Philadelphia (July 25-30, 2008). These awards will go to student and postdoc winners of the best oral presentation at the Friday Harbor meeting. These awards will cover travel, housing and registration expenses up to the amount of $1,000. In addition, the winner of the postdoc award will automatically be considered for the postdoc platform session at the national meeting. You must be an SDB member when you register for the Friday Harbor meeting to be considered for this award. You must also request an oral presentation when you submit your abstract online to be considered for one, and we will give preference to student and postdoc requests. You can apply for SDB membership at: http://www.sdbonline.org/ or by following the links when you register online. |
